Fraser Anderson is a beautifully bearded crafter of beautiful songs. His following is quietly growing from the foothills of the Pyrenees to the heartlands of America. Currently working on his third album, Fraser Anderson is, as always, immersing himself in music and sound, and with late night French radio and the sounds carried in the wind as a backdrop. This hotly anticipated third album, 151, is due for release in the summer 2010, and it has a great deal to live up to. His debut album, ‘and the girl with the strawberry…’ was hailed by his then local press in Scotland, as a “Masterpiece”. The second album, Coming up for air, recorded in Paris, came to the attention of BBC radio 2’s Bob Harris, who called it a “truly beautiful” album and was “Knocked out” by it. He described Fraser as an incredible singer songwriter and an amazing new discovery. Comparisons will be made. John Martyn, James Taylor, Bon Iver, Joni Mitchell, the list is exclusive. All the same Anderson throws his heart out from the spotlight. Currently recording his new album, Fraser will be on tour in the summer, dates to be published soon.
